It gives me great pleasure to introduce the BECO Steel Limited. The Company is an integrated steel producer from scrap to billet to various end products. We are involved in downstream steel processing and distribution. We manufacture billet to re-rolled products including specialty steels.
Our dedication to quality and competitiveness has led us to several milestones. Continuous improvement of products, processes and employees’ skills is the most important factor underlying BECO Steel Limited growth. Right since its inception, BECO Steel Limited has been emphasizing mainly on customers satisfaction. Our thrust areas are capacity optimization, reduction in operational and manufacturing cost, and increase in overall efficiency. We are giving adequate emphasis on Renovation and Modernization of our plants.
The Company has enjoyed a strong growth in the revenue stream over the years. In last five years the Company has achieved strong revenue CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) of 22%. Net profit during the aforementioned period has grown at a CAGR 28 % on back of back revenue growth driven by both improved operational efficiency and production.
Steel play a vital role in infra structural and overall economic development of any country. Per capital consumption of steel is major indicator in the economy of any country. Pakistan has a low per capital steel consumption as compared to developed countries. We are working hard to close that gap. There is a need to continue the current thrust on CPEC led infrastructure related activities and extend them.
Our staff is our strongest asset. Thus, our effort is to maintain that special asset. We are heavily invested in training our people to the latest production techniques and on the most efficient manufacturing equipment, while keeping their safety at the forefront of our endeavor.
